Click here to go to our new application portal at http://apps.takestockinchildren.org/ (once there, you can bookmark the page to go there directly next time).  The first time you visit this page you will be asked to install some software.  Your web browser (like Internet Explorer) may also ask to install an add-on.  In either case, allow the installation to run.

 

You will see a message on the page  to download the latest version of Citrix.  Click that and click on Run when the box pops up (If you are on a computer that does not allow you to install software, you will need assistance from your local IT department).  You may have to restart your computer.

 

***If you still cannot successfully launch your programs or if you see a message on the left side of your browser from Citrix to install more software, then click here and install this additional piece of software. Download the file and run it.***

 

You will only need to do this once.  From then on you can just log in.

 

To log in, use the same Citrix username and password that you have been using.

 

Once you log in, you will see a pane on the left with applications. Click on FileMaker Pro 11.  This is the program that runs the database.  In FileMaker click the File menu and select Open Remote.  Select the server and file Take Stock Database just like you used to do.  The username and password to get into the database  file have not changed.

 

 

*Desktop Shortcut*

  1. Right click on the link below and select Save Link As.
  2. Save it to your computer’s desktop.
  3. Once it is on your desktop, open it and copy the item that is inside it to your desktop. That item is a shortcut that will take you directly to the applications page where you can log in and open the database.
  4. You can delete the Take Stock Database.zip file from your desktop.

Once you log in you will see a page with three panes.  The left pane displays your applications.  The center and right panes are under construction now,  but will be for file sharing and additional information.
